Overview

The Ladder program is edited using a graphical editor that organizes the program into rungs. Each rung corresponds to an interlocking that relates input elements to output elements. This editor is shown in the following figure.

Main elements of a rung

  1. Left bus
  2. Right bus
  3. Output bus
  4. Connections between elements
  5. Rung title and comment

NOTE: Outputs will always be connected to the right of the output bus.
