Establishing Ethernet Communication

Consult the device's manual before establishing communication via Ethernet. Communication requires a network cable with standard RJ45 connectors. Depending on the device, you may need to connect an accessory to enable communication via this protocol.

Communication Configuration in WPS

In WPS, select the Ethernet port in the Properties > Communication Configuration window as follows.

ℹ️ Note: NOTE! Turn off the device before installing accessories or making connections.

Fill in the IP address, TCP port, and unit ID fields with the values configured on the device. You can use the Test button to ensure that the device will communicate with WPS using this configuration. Click OK to complete the WPS configuration.
