Description

The MVW01 G4 (IoT Ready), WEG's medium-voltage frequency inverter, was designed to meet the demands of electric motor control in applications with power up to 55,520 HP and voltages up to 6.9 kV. Featuring cutting-edge technology with high-voltage IGBTs, it uses NPC and HNPC topologies, along with flexible air and water cooling systems. It ensures high operational safety with protections against electrical arcs and an optional arc-resistant enclosure.

Equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen HMI interface, the MVW01 G4 offers seamless interaction for programming and real-time monitoring. Connectivity with major communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus-TCP, and MQTT, is supported. Additionally, it integrates directly and securely with the WEG Motion Fleet Management platform, providing intelligent asset management and predictive maintenance.

Connectivity

The MVW3000 G4 is an IoT Ready product with MQTT protocol and other the most used network communication protocols: Modbus-RTU, Modbus-TCP, EtherNet/IP incorporated into the product from its most basic version.

Through the MQTT protocol, it is possible to access the asset management software WEG Motion Fleet Management 1) in a simplified way, developed to bring more practicality and agility in the operation, maintenance and management of equipment and assets. Based on cloud computing technology, the monitoring of multiple assets can be monitored at any time and from anywhere in the world, observing the most important aspects of cybersecurity.
