The programming is divided into two different types, Ladder programming and Structured Text programming. The logic of the Ladder Diagram and Structured Text can be equivalent, as in the following example:

Figure 2 presents the declaration of variables and also the logic of the structured text equivalent to ladder logic (Figure 1).
